the Goddess: Hera

Hera is a version of a female anatomy project I did for my senior protfolio classes. The model was created to be a nude famale to show my knowledge of anatomy for the female form.
Once that portion was complete I took the project one step further and used Zbrush's Fibermesh to create realistic hair after I painted her body. (Her hair is pinned in a up hair-do so that you can see the work I did for her neck and back.) I also used the Fibermesh to make her eye lashes and brows.
Another class I was taking was Classical Greek Mythology. I loved that class; and so it inspired me to use this model to make Hera. From that point, I made a tradtional Greek Toga with gold clasps( to hold the fabric in place) for her clothing. Even her hair has been decorated with a gold head-ban.

Sunset on Lighthouse

The lightouse project was made to focus on materials and lighting. It is a Autodesk Maya project that assigned to our class. I, myself, did not construct everything in this image. The lighthouse, island, shack, fence, and rocks were not made by me. There I can not take credit for them. However I created everything else, such as: the lighting, the ocean, the trees, the background image of the sky, grass, materials, textures, the fog light from the lighthouse, and the birds.
After rendering a frame for a still image in maya, I imported the image into Adobe Photoshop to adjusted some of the coloring.

Sea Creature

Sea Creature

This is the final two sea creature ideas I decided to go with and finish. It was hard picking which one I wanted to go with because they are both similar to each other but they also have their own look. In the end, for the Digital Ink and Paint class I had, I used the one on the left, but the one on the right is my favorite.
I did model a sea creature which started in Autodesk Maya and finished in Pixologic Zbrush.

Zombie Pirate

Zombie Pirate

My peronal favorite character I created would be this Japanese Zombie Pirate. I love this character and everything I have created for her. She was desinged and illustrated in photoshop. Next, I took this idea and made her into a 3D model using Autodesk Maya and Pixologic Zbrush.
Thestory I have given her is that she is a Japanese Captain of her Zombie crew and ship. She is a wanted woman for the crimes she had committed. The man that is tracking her down is known as the Commadore. What is later known is the back story between the two of them and the love he has for this zombie pirate. Her pet is also the sea creature.

This original illustration was for Digital Ink and Paint class which I later used to make my 3D models. When making these 3D models I used Autodesk Maya and Pixologic Zbrush.
